Powerflex Front Bushings Polyurethane BMW 3-serie

Standard wishbone rubbers are usually made of natural rubber with additives.
Their disadvantage is that the rubber ages and weakens over time.
To minimize elastokinematic control by shear forces, the original rubber wishbone rubbers can be replaced by Powerflex polyurethane bushings.
These Powerflex rubbers are considerably stiffer (25 to 30%) than standard rubbers and therefore deform less during high loads.
The static wheel geometry, determined when the car is stationary (The Alignment), is maintained as much as possible under dynamic load while driving.
This makes the car react more accurately to steering wheel movements.

Poweflex rubbers provide the following benefits:

- Extend the life of tires because the wheel geometry is better preserved
- Provide more precise steering behavior
- Are more durable than rubber bushings
